Addresses the secession of two clergymen to the Roman Catholic Church, one of whom was W.H. Walsh, Rector of Christ Church, St Laurence. Includes the text of letters to the Sydney Morning Herald from both Walsh and Broughton. This copy is addressed by hand from Broughton to W.M. Cowper at Stroud.

Printed circular to all clergy, advising them of Bishop Broughton's intention to hold a visitation, at St James' Church Sydney, on the 9th June 1841, and requesting all Priests and Deacons to attend. Signed by William Cowper, Commissary, and Deputy Registrar [...] James.
